Zaddach's Mimic Forester - a photo on Flickriver

            
I saw this species two months ago. That time, I only got one bad photo - the specimen was quite shy and always sitting wrong. Too high, too far, wrong light. After heavy rains, I didn't see it again. 
Today was a very sunny day, I was quite late (almost noon) at the Mwalalo River. On the way up, I saw this guy. Sat wrong. Too far (gave me one really bad photo), then with closed wings, then high above, then lost. Went up the river what took around an hour. On the way back he was also back - flying away and landing behind a large stone directly in the only sunny spot. Gave me time for some shots before closing the wings. Remains one of my favorite colored butterflies.
