            Als full time vader en echtgenoot sta ik, op de incidentele hoofdlijnritten van de SSN of VSM en de evenementen na, bijna niet meer langs het spoor. Wat ik aan NS (of andere maatschappijen) materieel fotografeer is vaak bijvangst van stoom of museummaterieel waar ik voor op uit was getrokken. Gelukkig komt het nog wel een enkele keer voor dat ik even tijd heb, maar dat is helaas maar sporadisch. Dit keer had ik mijn oudste zoon naar een vakantiehuisje in Beekbergen gebracht en ben vervolgens bij de VSM en station Apeldoorn langsgegaan.

As a full-time father and husband I hardly make pictures of regular trains. Almost only when the SSN or VSM has one of their rare main line trips, I am able to catch some regular trains too. So what I catch with my camera of the NS (or other companies) trains is often a side catch of steam or museum material passing by. Fortunately I do find occasionally some time to make pictures. This time I had droped of my oldest son at a holiday home in Beekbergen and afterwards visited the VSM and Apeldoorn station.
