A two day visit to London together with Andy. It has been a while since I visited the neighbourhood of the Tower Bridge and Tower of London and the first time I walked this 124 year old bridge.
Location: Tower Bridge seen from the right river bank of the Thames at the quay of Potters Field Park.
Coordinates: 51°50'45" N 0°07'67" W
Reason: A two day visit to London, completely done by Eurostar. The return was a non-stop train ride from London to Amsterdam. A new connection opened in April 2018.

Tower Bridge: Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London built between 1886 and 1894. The bridge crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has become an iconic symbol of London. Because of this, Tower Bridge is sometimes confused with London Bridge, situated some 800 meters upstream. The bridge consists of two bridge towers tied together at the upper level by two horizontal walkways, designed to withstand the horizontal tension forces exerted by the suspended sections of the bridge on the landward sides of the towers.
