Aspen Line and Me (reflection below)

That is not the sky you see in this picture...but the lake below. Yes,  a deep blue lake...the fine ripples on a lovely Saturday morning. My hike is almost over at this point, I shall soon dive into this middle of the forest...and navigate to the edge of the lake where I will attempt fishing.

On this particular hike, I have been greeted with more wildflowers then usual. We had a very wet Spring and the Summer seems to be moving forward rather rapidly. Why does time seem to be moving rapidly? Does it have something to do with age? Maybe so...but I know at this moment...time doesn't matter...I soak in it....I contemplate this gift.

As a side note....I do have battle scares...when I ventured through this lushness...I blazed new trails...and branches whipped the legs...natures flogging I guess. I still bare the scabs as proof...
