USS Iwo Jima Conducts Flight Operations

            ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 27, 2025) Two MV-22B Ospreys, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 263 (Reinforced), start their rotors on the flight deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during flight operations. U.S. military forces are deployed to the Caribbean in support of the U.S. Southern Command mission, Department of War-directed operations, and the president’s priorities.
