3D LAAD training

            U.S. Marines with Alpha Battery, 3rd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion (LAAD), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), fire the FIM-92 Stinger missile during a training exercise at Yuma Proving Ground Stinger Range, Yuma, Ariz., Oct. 19, 2019. The training focuses on operational integration of the six functions of Marine Corps Aviation in support of a Marine Air Ground Task Force. Training events such as this one ensure the Marines and machines of 3rd MAW are able and ready to respond to crisis anytime, anywhere (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Dominic Romero).
