Santa Fe B40-8W 573 was leading a hot intermodal west through Lomax in the summer of 1996.

The BNSF merger was rearing its ugly head on trailing GP60M 108. Soon, the Superfleet image would be retired, and floods of orange GEs would soon saturate the former Santa Fe.
