Rolling Perfection

            Iowa Pacific's Illinois Central-inspired paint looks really nice on a pair of former Chicago and North Western E8s. It also looks really good on a whole bunch of passenger cars. 

The 2014 Chicago Rail Superintendents Association trip roars under the UP's former CNW New Line at Northbrook/Glenview/Shermer/A20 (depending on who you talk to). 

20 minutes of gardening rendered the view presentable; a lot has grown up since the last time 515 rolled through here as the Arizona Eastern 6070 two years previous.

Unfortunately, Iowa Pacific went tits up and all of this classic equipment is up for sale and rotting away all over the country.
