Queen Anne's lace, serving as landing platform, with Table Rock in background

When I took this, I wanted to get Table Rock in the background, which I did. I noticed that there was an insect on top of the Queen Anne's lace (Daucus) flowering head. I didn't realize, until I uploaded the photo to a computer, that there was also an insect getting ready to land, and partially obscuring Table Rock. Oh, well.

In the large and original sizes, you can see at least two insects using the flower as a landing platform.

Seen on the grounds of Table Rock Wesleyan Camp, Pickens County, South Carolina.

I'd like to thank God for our camera. Sometime in the last couple of days, it saved its 10,000th photo or video to its memory stick. The majority of those are permanently deleted, of course!
