Lupinus hirsutissimus, Stinging Lupine, & the Big Sur Coast

Days after posting this photo I am remembering I was going to footnote my friend Stuart Wilson, who has an immense catalog of California lupine photos.  I was making the adjacent close-up photo when I realized he was making a scenic shot somewhat like this photo.  Thanks for the inspiration.
