Meedraaien met de zon - a photo on Flickriver

Het innemen van een passende positie afhankelijk van de zonnestand geldt niet alleen voor de fotograaf maar ook voor de zonnebloemen. In het veldje bij de halte Gelindchen hebben de bedektzadigden hun bloemhoofden meegedraaid met de zonnestand.

Bij de halte onder de boom tuft Talbot-motorwagen T102 uit 1950 met een rustige gang voorbij want reizigers vallen op het vroege uur in geen velden of wegen te bekennen. Oorspronkelijk deed er op de smalspoorlijn van de Geilenkirchener Kreisbahnen ook zo'n Talbot-motorrijtuig dienst. Het is zodoende zeer passend dat de Selkantbahn een overeenkomstig voertuig van de Inselbahn Langeoog heeft weten te verwerven.
