Voorwaarts - a photo on Flickriver

Voorwaarts

Vanuit het depot in Brohl is mallet-locomotief 11sm onderweg naar het havenemplacement. Via een viaduct wordt de Bahnhofstrasse overgestoken. Daarna daalt de locomotief af naar de lager gelegen havensporen waarbij naast de hoofdspoorlijn kop gemaakt moet worden om terug te steken.

Lokomotief 11sm is een krachtige machine die in 1906 bij Humboldt in Köln-Kalk met Fabrieksnummer 348 voor de heuvelachtige Brohltalbahn gebouwd is. De letters sm staan voor "schwere Mallet".
