Body & Fender Shop … - a photo on Flickriver

            … this Victor had a long operational life, first as a strategic bomber – it flew bombing runs over Indonesia in the early Sixties, then as a tanker. 

It was acquired by the Imperial War Museum in 1976 and has called Duxford its home ever since. 

It has entered the Conservation in Action hangar about 3 years ago, and is undergoing deep maintenance, mostly to remedy the effects of corrosion.
