a silhouetted self portrait along the oregon coast

            Better when viewed large.

I spent an hour or so wandering the coastline along Fort Stevens last weekend. With one frame left on my Holga 120 WPC, I decided to try a self portrait, and grabbed my Hasselblad along for the ride. There are many things I would change about this image - I'd get closer to the camera (the point was to be able to identify the camera I was holding by its silhouette), angle myself a bit, and maybe not wear a bulky hooded sweatshirt that somehow makes my neck and head look alien-like... but this, I thought, was a decent start. 

This was a four-minute exposure (my hands were freezing by the time I was done) with the Holga 120 WPC.
