Le crépuscule flamboyant des grues - a photo on Flickriver

            Ce sont des oiseaux puissants qui migrent sur environ 2 500 km de distance, ils passent l'hiver en Afrique du Nord ou en Europe méridionale (au sud de l'Espagne) et volent en ce moment vers la Scandinavie. Les vols migratoires sont en forme de V ou de Y. En vol, les grues cendrées crient, la plupart du temps, environ toutes les 10 à 15 secondes. Le chant, un "grou" sonore, s'entend jusqu'à quatre kilomètres. C'est une particularité anatomique du bréchet de la grue qui explique son exceptionnelle puissance. 
Ce week-end, j'ai eu la chance de voir les dernières grues remonter vers le nord et passer au dessus du Lac de Der.
