Great Central Railway Swithland Leicestershire 29th January 2023

            The nameplate says it all. 

We were rostered on BR Standard 5 4-6-0 73082 Camelot visiting from the Bluebell Railway. Our second trip was on the 11.40 freight from Loughborough to Swithland.

Here we are in the Up Loop while sister engine 73156 arrives light engine from Rothley. The original plan had us uncoupling and running to Rothley to work a passenger train back to Loughborough while 73156 took our freight back. Things change and we ended up double-heading the freight tender-first instead.
