Great Central Railway Loughborough Leicestershire January 2003

            A short video highlighting Riddles WD 2-10-0 90775 coming off shed and around Loughborough station.

Built by North British in December 1943 as MoD 3692 it spent time in the Middle East before transfer to Greece in 1946. Based in Thessalonica in northorn Greece it worked until the late 70s. It was repatriated to the UK in 1984 and worked at the Mid Hants & the NYMR before arriving at the GCR in 2002. After a year it moved on to the NNR where, after overhaul, it is operating today. 

In the summer of 1972 I passed through Thessalonica by train and saw a line of WDs on shed which may well have included this one. Sadly no notes or photos to prove it.
