Street photography and an urban landscape from the banks of the River Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

Captured in July 2019, this beautiful piece of street art that greets you from the train as it crosses the river into Glasgow Central Station, has long since been covered with the 'less approved' kind of street art graffiti. While I can understand graffiti artists wanting to reclaim their spaces from authorised and commissioned works of art, vandalising something so beautiful feels wrong to me. I remember on my few visits into the city last summer, following the first pandemic lockdown, that a lot of great street art had been covered with graffiti tags and the tags were everywhere on the high street too, the usually little-tagged flagship 'Style Mile'.

I wonder what the streets will hold for my lens when I can next venture into the city.
