USS Batfish SS-310 - a photo on Flickriver

USS Batfish SS-310

Ask the man who owns one...hmmm, don't believe that one eh??? OK, they were having a huge canepole and nightcrawler fishing tournament on the Arkansas River...I rented a pole, night crawlers and this batfish(2415 tons submerged and 311ft 9in long) drug my skinny self all over the river......didn't think you would believe I caught it; OK, so it followed me home can I keep it? It is really the USS Batfish SS-310 at the War Memorial in Muscogee, Oklahoma. This visit is removed from the bucket list. It is the only submarine in history to sink 3 enemy subs on the same war patrol. The website is www.ussbatfish.com/ check it out, seeing it in person with my special traveling companion was awesome!
