The Start of the Spread - a photo on Flickriver

            While most parts of the world are recovering from the Covid-19, the pandemic just started to spread in Syria. Tens of deaths per day and hundreds of new cases. The government is still not doing its job with spreading the awareness of how to take care and all the social distancing procedures, not only that but its media is also not announcing the actual number of cases, and keep trying to cover up on how terrible the situation is. Most people are uneducated and don’t know about such things, and  many are suffering enough with trying to get their basic needs and can’t afford face masking and sanitizers. The regime is also taking all the international of COVID test supplies and making the people pay 100$ (255,000 Syrian Liras) per test. Basic medicines types are missing from pharmacies all around the country. Unless the government takes serious steps to stop it, the pandemic will continue to worsen in Syria and will be a new type of death written in the destiny of many citizens.
