George Taylor (updated repost) - a photo on Flickriver

            George Taylor.  I was out on a Saturday afternoon to a causeway I had not visited in years. That is when I met Mr. Taylor. He was just sitting there and had apparently been there most of the day. I thought he was a good start for my 100 strangers.

He readily agreed and I took several photographs of him. This was the first and probably the best. He has been in Palm Beach County since 1953. He has many stories to tell. A lot of these have to do with the changes in West Palm Beach. Whilst talking with him I took a few photographs of the downtown skyline, across the lake, his comment was "that is beautiful but those can be some mean streets."

He spoke freely during our brief conversation and seemed thrilled that he would be on the Internet. I suspected he might have been homeless.  He also said that I made his day. He may not have been aware but he contributed greatly to mind.
