            I was so excited when on the spur of the moment my wife suggested we check if there were any openings for flights around Denali.  Two spots were open for the last flight of the day.  We literally bought our seats and boarded the plane.
  The 15 minute stop at the Talkeetna Base camp lasted for 45 minutes.  Since we were on the last flight of the day the Pilot did not have to worry about getting back to pick up another group.
  The snow around the plane was densely packed.  I remember where I was standing for this picture I had to leave the safely of the snow pack.  There was an "oh crap" moment as I started sinking into the unmolested snow I had just violated.  Fortunately I only sunk about a foot and a half.
