Nice While It Lasted - a photo on Flickriver

            When it first started, going to Port Huron on a Sunday morning to shoot the Lake State Port Huron switch was always sure to draw a crowd, and for good reason. The line leased from CN ran along the St. Clair River under the Blue Water Bridge to Dunn Paper Mill at the end of the line. Last month, Dunn Paper shut down production at the facility, which basically ended the prospect of shooting trains along the river. On one of those sunny days, waiting on the conductor to walk up from the gate, the train sits along the shore and the famous blue water that Port Huron is known for.
