Bengal Tiger Revisited - a photo on Flickriver

Going back through my older images, reflecting on how I used to shoot and edit...

This was a difficult image, shot at very high ISO. In the original edit in Lightroom, I opted to squish the shadows and saturate the hell out of it to reduce the appear of noise on the tiger: www.flickr.com/photos/kurt-b/5678693090/in/dateposted-pub...

Now I've got the luxury of the fantastic prime denoise engine in DxO Photolab... once denoised it's much easier to give it a more realistic look.
