Brent Rupard and Anthony Olympia are both from Kentucky and met at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. They named their duo after George Clooney’s character Ulysses Everett McGill in the film "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", and released their first recording in 2018. They write their own songs (sometimes with others), and here also performed " Man of Constant Sorrow" and "Rocket Man".
