            Das Ostseebad Ahrenshoop ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Deutschland). Sie ist Teil des Amtes Darß/Fischland mit Sitz in Born a. Darß. Sie liegt auf der Halbinselkette Fischland-Darß-Zingst am Übergang vom Fischland zum Darß.

Quer durch die Gemeinde Ahrenshoop verläuft die historische Grenze zwischen Mecklenburg und Vorpommern, der Kernort Ahrenshoop gehört historisch zu Vorpommern, während die Ortsteile Althagen und Niehagen früher zu Mecklenburg gehörten.
