Happy International Cat Day! - a photo on Flickriver

            If you're looking at this cat and thinking there's something a little spooky about it, you're correct!  I always try to get to Paris to see a dear friend of mine (also a photographer) who this year asked me if I had any specific plans.  Well, I mean, nothing major just wanted to swing by the Cimetière de Montmartre because I read there are some cats there and I brought my handy organic cat treats in my camera bag all the way from Chicago.  Thankfully, we've been friends since 2006 so he's very used to my shenanigans!    Anyhow,  I ran into about five cats there, which is not too bad considering it was hot and also just starting to get dusk out but not full dusk when the cat zoomies take over.  (You all know what cat zoomies are, I am assuming?)  

The funny thing was that while I was there, I also ran into another person from America who also had cat treats with her (She was from St. Louis) and gave me some tips about where best to find these cats-note look around the edges and shady parts and I get the feeling marble is a lot cooler as a place to sit.  

When I told my friend and his partner about running into another American and trading tips, his partner said, "Oh, that's so cool!  Did you get her contact info?"  I said "No, I came here to meet cats not people!"
