You walked in the forest all alone and 
fell hard along that brown and green carpet. 
And the leaf laughed and giggled 
with a frenzy of a tree being tickled. 
Were you being followed by a hyena you wondered?
Oh, your ankle and feet were in so much uncontrollable pain! 
Still that leaf roared uproariously!
It’s tongue protruded clacking along as it’s 
jagged teeth chattered rhythmically
How could nature be so cruel?

Still, it begs the question…
If a leaf laughs in the forest and there’s no one there to hear it…
Is it still having as much fun?
