Little Egret ( White Heron) Egretta garzetta

            One of the few success stories in the bird world in recent years Little  Egrets first bred in the U.K. in 1996 and now there are between 600 to 800 pairs here ,in the winter this can be boosted to up to 4,500 birds                Family Bitterns and herons (Ardeidae)  Name Egretta garzetta  . Taken at Dungeness RSPB
