晨逆攝鷹 ( 鶚 ) - a photo on Flickriver

            鶚 Osprey【學名：Pandion haliaetus】鷹形目 / 鶚科。別名：魚鷹、魚江鳥、䲹、王鴡、雎鳩、西部魚鷹。

鶚的體長約56~62cm，雌雄同鳥形，雌鳥通常略大些，全身大致為黑褐和白色，頭部白色，眼黃蠟膜暗藍灰色，黑褐色的眼後線連至後頸，額有若干黑褐色細縱紋。後頸、背、翼與尾羽皆為深褐。尾羽有多道褐白相間的橫帶。腹面白色，胸部有褐色縱紋。喙黑色。腳青灰色，腳底密布刺棘

主要繁殖於北半球和澳洲，部份族群南遷至南方渡冬，包括南美洲及非洲；在臺灣屬於冬候鳥，但也有少部份個體滯留在臺灣，而臺灣目前也無繁殖的紀錄。

臺灣冬季時，分佈於各地河川地中下游、河口、湖潭、水庫、魚塭等，主要棲息在有豐富魚源周遭。飛行時偶會有「丟丟丟」數聲短促連音。

覓食行為主要以活魚為主，會於空中約20~30公尺慢速飛行，一旦發現魚蹤變會於空中短暫懸停，然後垂直俯衝以爪入水，可全身沒入水中，是猛禽中唯一能潛水的種類。會以接近水面的表層魚類為目標。雙爪可同時抓魚，有時會捨棄小魚另抓大魚，甚至會連續衝水好幾次。抓到魚後會停棲在枯枝上或木樁上食用，吃飽後會停棲休息一陣子。

鶚在台灣屬於二級保育的鳥類，與遊隼同為全世界分佈最廣的鳥類，廣佈於各大洲。魚鷹因為難以接近，所以比較不會遭受獵捕，但因為水域有時會有漁民放置魚網捕魚，導致纏網溺斃的風險，只能仰賴民眾搭救，也算是魚鷹野外求生的風險之一。

鳥類攝影實在是件相當辛苦的事，有時天時、地利、人合，條件缺一，都會造就作品的不完美。這次半年的魚應季下來，滿意的作品又比去年更少了，每次當光線好、水平的時候，魚鷹總是不會出現，還得賭牠飛到近的地方抓魚，挫折感真的是相當重。今年的逆光版，就屬這張較為滿意，一大清早的逆光版，也是很吃運氣的，有時守候好幾個月，不一定能有一張，這次算是撿到的，期待下次的魚鷹季，能拍到更喜歡的作品。
