            It was the morning of our departure from Rome, so I figured that rising at 4am would be all right: if it made me even more tired than I already was, I could always sleep on the plane. I was somewhat surprised to have the bridge to myself for the best of the blue hour. By the time another photographer arrived, the best light was almost gone.
