Ojo Guareña. Ermita San Bartolomé.

            Ojo Guareña es un complejo karstico en el corazón de Burgos.En las paredes de sus cuevas, habita parte de la historia de las Merindades dentro de sus 110 km. de galerías.
 La “joya de la corona”, según el guía de las cuevas, es la ermita llamada de San Bernabé, aunque sus pinturas en su bóveda natural cubierta nos hablan sobre los martirios y el bautismo de San Tirso, de 1705, y varias representaciones de sus milagros, datadas en 1877.

Ojo Guareña is a karstic complex in the heart of Burgos. In the walls of its caves, part of the history of the Merindades lives within its 110 km. galleries.
  The "jewel in the crown", according to the cave guide, is the hermitage called San Bernabé, although his paintings in its covered natural vault tell us about the martyrdoms and baptism of San Tirso, from 1705, and various representations of his miracles, dated 1877.
