Puente de la Libertad (Szabadság Híd)

                 Este puente, fue construido con motivo de la exposición del Milenario en el año 1896, y fue inaugurado por  emperador Francisco José, quien dio el martillazo al último remache, por lo que fué bautizado con su nombre. Y no fue hasta su reconstrucción, al término de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, que se rebautizó con su nombre actual, Szabadság Híd, (puente de la libertad en castellano). Es un puente voladizo de 334 metros de largo en el que cada uno de sus cuatro apoyos está coronado por una bola dorada sobre la que encontrarás unas figuras llamadas “Turul”. Los Turul son unas aves míticas húngaras. Si de día luce impecable con su característico color verde, tampoco tiene desperdicio la iluminación nocturna, simplemente espectacular. 

This bridge was built on the occasion of the Millennium exhibition in 1896, and was inaugurated by Emperor Francisco José, who gave the hammer to the last rivet, for which he was baptized with his name. And it was not until its reconstruction, at the end of the Second World War, that it was renamed with its current name, Szabadság Híd, (bridge of freedom in Castilian). It is a cantilever bridge of 334 meters long in which each of its four supports is crowned by a golden ball on which are some figures called "Turul". The Turul are Hungarian mythical birds. If by day it looks impeccable with its characteristic green color, there is no waste of night lighting; simply spectacular.

Ce pont a été construit à l'occasion de l'exposition du Millénaire en 1896, et a été inauguré par l'empereur Francisco José, qui a donné le marteau au dernier rivet, pour lequel il a été baptisé avec son nom. Et ce n'est qu'à sa reconstruction, à la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, qu'elle a été renommée avec son nom actuel, Szabadság Híd, (pont de la liberté en castillan). C'est un pont en porte-à-faux de 334 mètres de long dont chacun de ses quatre appuis est couronné par une boule dorée sur laquelle se trouvent des figures appelées "Turul". Les Turul sont des oiseaux mythiques hongrois. Si le jour il semble impeccable avec sa couleur verte caractéristique, il n'y a aucun gaspillage d'éclairage de nuit; simplement spectaculaire.
