Blencathra and Tewet Tarn - a photo on Flickriver

An early start to head up to Tewet Tarn for dawn this morning (How much easier are early mornings at this time of year compared to mid-summer by the way?!). This was my first visit to this spot, but what a lovely location it is. I didn't really get any reflections in the water, but at least I got a couple of nice breaks of light, which was looking unlikely when I arrived half an hour before the sun was due and a large bank of cloud started covering the skies. Fortunately the reflection-ruining breeze broken it up and dispatched it down south.
