SAAB L-11 B 18B in Flygvapenmuseum Malmen

            ONLY REMAINING SAAB 18 of 244 built. C/n 18.172 built in 1945. Bomber aircraft 18 (= B 18) in Swedish Air Force, marked 18172 / 14-Red D. Made a forced landing in February 1946 on the ice outside Härnösand, Sweden. After a couple of days the ice melted and the aircraft sank. It was salvaged in 1979 and is since then under restoratation. In Flygvapenmuseum - Swedish Air Force Museum in Malmslätt outside Linköping, Sweden 23. August 2018.
