Shared campsite

While walking down to our campsite’s lakeshore, this Broad-headed Skink shot through the grass and up the side of a tree. As the Mrs. kept an eye on him, I went into our RV and grabbed my camera and macro lens. 

It took a few minutes to get this shot as I would go around one side of the tree, he would swiftly move to the other. I finally had to wrap my arm around the tree and tap my fingers to drive him towards the lens. No skinks or old photographers were harmed in the making of this photo.
