Daffodils Fence Windmill 3506 B - a photo on Flickriver

            Daffodils, fence and windmill seen from the abandoned Friend schoolhouse in the ghost town of Friend, Oregon in Wasco County. 

Friend was a railroad town established when it was a terminal for a short railroad spur from nearby Dalles and Dufur in 1908.  The railroad pulled up by the 1930s and the town was soon abandoned.
