Mining Shack Mountains 8974 A - a photo on Flickriver

            Shack on the edge of the picturesque semi-ghost town of Randsburg, California, population 69.   

Randsburg was a gold mining town settled in the 1890s and once had a population of 2,500.  Some locals still mine, but today Randsburg is mostly a charming tourist town.

The town is popular with off-roaders.  At least 50 mud-splattered ATVs were parked along two blocks of main street.
