Sweet Moment - a photo on Flickriver

Sweet Moment

            The assignment for my last Documentary Photography course at Stanford was "street photography". 

We were scheduled to visit the Chinese New Year's Parade in San Francisco, but it was ~39 degrees with heavy rainfall, so I declined to attend. Instead, I visited the suburban equivalent to street life, which is the shopping mall. I'm overcoming my reticence to photograph people in public places. Carrying a camera and looking for photo ops makes you a great observer !

I rarely go to the mall these days, preferring to do most of my shopping on-line. It seems that the main event at the mall is eating.  I wandered through the Food Court and saw a interesting slice of life there - see below:
