L2018_3586 - St Mary Magdalene - Wiston - Pembrokeshire

Wiston Church, dedicated to St Mary Magdalene, was founded by Wizo the Fleming, from whom the settlement of Wiston obtained its name, shortly after he built the original castle nearby. There has been a church on this site since the early twelfth century.

The church is dedicated to St Mary Magdalene, the only Anglican church so dedicated in Pembrokeshire, and one of only two in St David's diocese.
