  I felt the need up upload a photo.. but at the moment I do not have time to return comments.  I am aware that I am a little behind on my challenges.. But I am going to TRY to catch up, as soon as the time permits!  [I'm behind on my 52weeks], but keep an eye out.. I'll be posting them soon!
   I have been pretty busy with work.. appointments for me, my family & my dog too.  Trying to get everything done.

Kind of like.. Some thoughts to myself.. Using the photo as the subject..

.... >> When you decide to make a change in your life.. to save your own life, in most cases this is a decision that you're going to make ALONE & you're also going to continue on this path "alone".  
  - You will (hopefully) reach out and find some friends/a network - in recovery to be there for you.  
  However.. in recovery you have to decide to this for yourself. No one is going to CONVINCE you to change your ways.. or  be the one who who sweeps you off your feet & saves your life.. (I know MANY of us fantasized about that one!)  YOU & ONLY YOU are the one who will swoop in & sweep you off your feet & save your life.  Because you.. & YOU ALONE are the ONLY person who can make that decision and really WANT it enough to make a change.
  You can think otherwise.. (I did for a long time).  Or you can stop lying to yourself.. and decide in your heart that you're truly ready to make a change and you are done living like this.
  But that will be YOU- ALONE.. & although you're Alone in this decision.. and it's going to be a struggle..  
...  and you can move away or run away.. but you always have to take YOURSELF with you. (moving/running away hardly ever works.. because unfortunately you are the problem and you have to bring YOURSELF with you.
  >>You can share this struggle with others..& talk to them.. Yes. & support is always good.  But remember Not everyone wants to see you get better. Sometimes.. even the people who are supposed to be the closest to you (your best friends & family)  may want to keep you sick.. **codependent relationships**  And people you meet might fall back.. and of coarse they don't want to feel alone in their problems.. so be careful of them too, they can pull you back down quickly.  
  Even the people you LOVE THE MOST may fall back.  And as much as it hurts to watch it.. You cannot save them.. because like I said about you.. (they must save themselves) & getting too close to them can only bring you down in the long run. 
  Sometimes it's safer to love people from a distance. And that is a hard lesson to learn.. it hurts but it's necessary.
 Remember you might feel alone.  You might be KIND OF alone in your recovery.. but it's NOT a bad alone.  It's a GOOD ALONE.  Because, ONLY YOU -ALONE can get yourself better & keep yourself better. 
>>You are the most important person in YOUR LIFE. ALWAYS keep yourself first.. No matter what.
  You are not ALONE.  But you're alone in your own personal battle for your OWN life & OWN WELLNESS.. ((Your struggle is NO ONE ELSE'S RESPONSIBILITY- BUT YOURS..AND YOURS-ALONE)).   
  You're floating.  Floating UP.. Rising above.. & Doing amazing!        Maybe floating *alone* in your success.. but you're never ALONE.
