First fall colors are late, but welcome

            I drove through Rocky Mountain National Park and then over Buffalo Pass in the Park Range to photograph fall colors. I did find colors (this is the best) but they were few and far between, weak and wan. The season is really late.

This is the best splash of color that I found--above Willow Creek along CO 125 between Grandby and Willow Creek Pass. About 10 miles of good color, but otherwise I was driving through aspen that were 100% green.
