Lunch break on visit to Hung Kings Temple April 2010

            The Hung Kings Temple - actually a complex of several temples, a pagoda and other monuments - is on the Nghia Linh mountain, 85 kilometres north-west of Hanoi. Every year a festival is held to worship the Hung King dynasty, said to have founded Vietnam and ruled the country from 2897BC to 258BC. This photo was taken the weekend before the main festival (which is a national public holiday)  when the mountain was already crowded with worshippers.
