87002 with the Friday Charter. - a photo on Flickriver

            A last minute decision to go out for 87002 hauling 1Z41 17:42 London Euston-Manchester Piccadilly 'Friday charter.' Lots of rain and clouds were about, and I had already got a soaking earlier on in the day. However, looking out my window, and looking at the satellite, it looked like there might be a gap in the clouds so i made the short journey here to Barby Nortoft. However, as the nights are drawing in, the shadows are getting longer, and sadly, a large shadow would have covered most of the loco had I let the train get to the normal position to get a photo here, So instead, I settled on taking the shot about as early as I dared. Not great, but better than a kick in the teeth.
