Pumpkin: "Welcome to my nest!" - a photo on Flickriver

            Mr Pumpkin fled his cage last night/morning when I was asleep (the door is now secured with clothes peg).  I didn't have time to find him till I came home this evening.  

Where did I find him?  Behind and between ikea boxes under my bed.  :|

Not only did he move all his tissue paper and food in, he also chewed on the tv cable.

But my reaction was mainly argh.  He was so happy inside, he refused to go out.  Signs of displeasure only started showing when Andora decided to go to his nest to rob him of his food.  o.O

Andora happily munched on them while he just stared.  I was also shining a torchlight at and scolding her...  Obviously that didn't work.  Had to shoo her off by touching her butt from a tiny gap between the wall and the bed.  

How did I finally get Pumpkin out?  Bubble blower, irritating torchlight, moving cable obstacle and a mom to catch running hamster.  o.O  

Neither tanks nor cages can hold him in.  xD

(Had to crawl under the bed for this shot.  Dusty.  I don't see why it's nice inside!  And unfortunately for him, after he's back in his cage, I vacuumed up his nest.  Hohoho.)
