D i f f e r e n t . P e r s p e c t i v e

            I have never had the chance to see this view before. There was a risk involved. There was a river in-between us and the other side. It did not look very deep, but the rocks were either very slick, or sharp. I ended up with several cuts on my cold, bare feet. It was cold and even though shallow, the river still proved to be a challenge. The end result was well worth it. Sometimes we have to take the hard way, the uncommon route, and the less traveled path in order to see a different perspective. In our culture today, it can be a bit of a risk to even challenge the common thought and seek out a new perspective. The water may be cold and the rocks sharp, but in the end the new perspective that we gain is worth the effort.
