A shot from the archives from last year’s trip to Arizona. This one is from a well-known spot in Lower Antelope Canyon where the sandstone formation appears as if noses are sticking out of the walls and facing each other.

I’ll be honest in that being my first trip shooting a slot canyon I wasn‘t quite sure what I was doing or how I should be shooting. Lower Antelope Canyon was the first place we visited. Not knowing where the major photogenic formations were located I tried to frame and compose shots the best I could.

One year on, I am still going through the images from that day and have finally processed this beauty. All in all, I definitely loved the textures and lighting glow in Lower Antelope Canyon. I would jump at the chance to shoot there again and really wish it was less crowded.
