The Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial in Washington, DC

            First time photographing the new Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial in Washington, DC. When I originally saw the design, one word jumped out at me: "pano". Finally made it to the memorial Monday night to see for myself. I think pano works well with this memorial because it allowed me to combine a wide view of the tapestry with the scenes on depicted on either side. I also think the curves introduced by pano fit quite well with a Frank Gehry-designed memorial! The lighting on the memorial is quite a bit darker than seen here. Since I used a tripod, I could brighten the scene and balance out the light in post.

I took more than one composition of it. I like this one in that it allows me to see most of the tapestry with the two depicted scenes. However, I have another view might be an overall better photography perspective of the memorial. I'll likely post that one in the next week.
