Dust Bucket and crew - a photo on Flickriver

            Since it seems like Salted State has pretty much died off for me, I thought I'd finally show off these figures that were intended to be relieved letter on in the storyline.

A trio of rag-tag tankers; Carter, Riley, and Em, they rove around in their customized M113 fighting vehicle across Wasteland America and cause havoc for the DRNA in whatever way they can.

From left to right:

Carter - Somewhat of a typical grease monkey, he acts as the gunner behind the main autocannon. Nothing too special about him. His legs were painted in an attempt to continue the overalls from his torso. His scarf is a lego elastic band, I'd originally gotten it for a turtle neck for another figure but it didn't work out as I'd hoped. He also had painted gloves (however messy they might be) and helmet. He has a Serbu Super-Shorty.

Riley - Commander of the crew, he's mature and always in control. Based off a figure from my previous apocalypse series way back in the day, I had heavily modified him to rough him up more to fit with the other figures. His helmet is full of drilled-in bullet holes and sawed out scars. His vest was from a friend which I did a small amount of painting to. I meant to add more little details, but ended up only adding his last name scribbled at the bottom. He has a battle-worn SIG 716 with a little bit of painted camouflage on it.

Em - Not exactly butch but still just another one of the guys, she's a lesbian and the crew's driver. Kind of got inspiration from the airsoft unicorn, minus the whole lesbian part I added in. I had actually put blood into making her helmet; while cutting off the clip for the night vision goggles I had slit my finger open. Bled like a mofo. Moving on, I sanded down a lego tooth piece and glued it on to make the unicorn horn, then painted it to give the best cutesy appearance I could. I left out doing a mouth because I couldn't figure out how to do it without ruining everything. Her torso is from the bulldozer kit I'd gotten last year and her legs are modified from whatever star wars kit that was with the speeders. She has one painted leather glove and another fingerless. Her chest rig is my regular style of modifying the scout combat vests from BA. I tried my best to add a LGBT rainbow flag, feminist emblem, and another small pin. Despite this, she isn't some kind of crazy radfem SJW type. She has a MP7 with a little bit of feminizing to it.

Should I post the rest of the stuff I've been holding off on? I've got a whole group of apocalyptic militia that I'd also been saving for the story, but didn't want to spoil.
