On this day, 10th Jan, 2015

            Six years ago I had a beautiful and delightfully tame Blue tongue skink living in my garden, she ate all the snails, slugs, cockroaches, beetles and lizards she could find.  She also accepted sliced fruit and cheese from my hand.  She was a very special creature who liked to explore the neighbourhood, which was her undoing.  The woman who lived opposite to me knew I kept this animal, so she killed it when it went into her yard.  There's a special place in Hell for wicked people.
